ROSE ICE CREAM

6 1/2 cup heavy cream

2 tsp. rose water

1/8 tsp. salt

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 tsp. red food coloring

Combine heavy cream, rose water, salt, sugar and food coloring. Churn freeze. Makes 1/2 gallon

Fruit Salad Recipes

Fruit salad recipes don't have to be fancy or made with a large number of different ingredients. Just cutting up an apple and putting it on a plate or in a bowl can be enough to call it a fruit salad. Of course you probably want to make something a little more interesting and that's where we will start. Let's go back to that bowl of sliced apple for a second and add a couple spoonfuls of yogurt to it. Now we have something that makes that apple a day a little more enticing. If you were to add a sliced up banana you would have my favorite breakfast here: When I make a fruit salad I simply go to the grocery store and buy 1 or 2 of a variety of different fruits. I like to really mix it up with citrus, berries, melons, apples, bananas, peaches, and whatever else I can find. I sometimes mix fresh and canned fruits which gives the salad lots of extra juice. For the salad pictured here I used: 1 grapefruit 2 oranges 2 bananas 6 large strawberries-sliced 2 nectarines honeydew melon...

Christmas Tea recipe

Christmas Tea ingredients list: 1 ¾ cup of Tea, instant (no sugar or lemon). 2 cups of Orange flavouring. 1 ½ cup of Sugar. 2 teaspoons of Cloves. 2 teaspoons of Cinnamon. 1 packet Lemonade mix, small size, no sugar. Instructions for Christmas Tea: Mix all ingredients together in a food processor and blend until smooth. Put 3 teaspoons of the mixture into a cup. Cover with boiling water and stir, adding sugar to taste.

Creamed Dried Beef recipe

Creamed Dried Beef ingredients list: 1/4 lb of dried beef. 2 tablespoon of butter. 1 1/2 tablespoons of flour. 1 cup of milk. Hot buttered toast. Instructions for Creamed Dried Beef: Pick meat into small pieces, brown in butter. Sprinkle on flour and stir. Slowly add the milk. Cook until slightly thickened. When it boils, pour it over a platter of toast and serve immediately.
